Inside the palace, visitors can admire the rooms of the piano nobile frescoed by Marco Benefial, Placido Costanzi, and Giuseppe Colignon.
There are also tempera paintings on canvas depicting architectural views, in the style of the Bibiena family and Giovanni Battista Marchetti, known as il Pianpianino. The Palazzo also preserves within its walls the Chigi Zondadari collection, which has been enriched by recent acquisitions.

Description
The tour is led by an art historian who will explain the history of the family, the palace and the permanent collection through the rooms on the piano nobile. Depending on the period of the visit, the tour of the museum house will also include the installations created for the CORTEMPORANEA editions.

I visitatori saranno accompagnati nel percorso museale dalla nostra guida che si alternerà agli intermezzi musicali curati da Roma Opera Omnia. Le musiche proposte risalgono all’autentico repertorio barocco con brani di compositori come Monteverdi, Caccini e Frescobaldi, eseguiti con strumenti dell’epoca come la tiorba e dal talentuoso soprano Paola Alonzi.
La visita si conclude nel salone da ballo dove verrà servito un calice di vino prodotto dall’azienda agricola di famiglia Podere Olmo.

Visitors will be accompanied on the museum tour by our guide, through the rooms on the main floor. The visit ends in the ballroom where an aperitif will be served with assorted pretzels and wine produced by the family farm Podere Olmo. Guests will be able to request advice on local attractions and activities, to make the most of their visit to the city of Siena and its surroundings.
